Drishti Of The Day Archived Today:

"How are the Native Americans in this country doing, during this pandemic? Surely, there are other people who've thought, & cared, about that besides me...I think for every Hate Crime against an Asian-American, during it, one state should be given back to the tribes that originally inhabited the land, in exact proportion to how they were dispersed before they were lied, cheated, and stolen from out of, or off of, it. God and Mother Nature would love that. I mean, if we're talking giving money to the descendants of African-American slaves, as if that even touches compensation, surely everyone, including those descendants, are thinking that first. In a recent text to the house, I said, 'A Wise old Jin once said, "One can tell how people have lived by how they act when they think they might die." (Emoji: The stack of books)' Fortunately for the tribes, my understanding is that there have been HUNDREDS of Hate Crimes against people of my Race in one week, including before this pandemic began. Just remember who squished their curve. It wasn't this place. I think it's time for all the Asian-American Medical personnel, & those of us who would do whatever was necessary to help our countrymen here, or in Asia, to consider quarantining at home, rather than helping. After all, I'm sure diseased sub-humans hardly produce any Ivy League doctors busy doing anything positive for this country, anyway. Then, while all that's going on, I'm gonna go do what I should've gotten to do, upon talking--go back to Seoul & learn K-Pop dancing & how to say, 'I love boyz' in Ha(e?)ngul." -Amy Jin Schmelzer
