Sometimes I feel like I'm almost numb, due to the complete absence of truly amazing songs, across genres--the kind that earn some kind of award or precedent-setting honor in your historical witness. I can't even call these songs bops. They both cross boundaries but bring all their Goodness along--"Slow Down" by Skip Marley feat. H.E.R. and MINO's 2nd solo album, "TAKE," are played loud, here, at the moment. "Pow!"=Do I get up? Do I move? What do I do next? This defines next level. "Wa" feat. Zion.T and the opener, "Love And A Boy," are other favorites. Inspiring.
