fringe, Body & Soul Wellness Center and Spa, Designworks previously written about, and every place in town, over the years, now including salons in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, & Davenport have conclusively led me to believe the following, after tonic SALON AND DAY SPA today. Contempo literally had the Owner tell me, just before that that not a single person on staff, currently, was competent or willing to work with me, being Asian. Since the Estee Lauder? takeover, AVEDA has become a hardened, racist entity, though it has long used Asian inspiration, spirituality, and Models. All 3 salons in Dubuque have always struck me as that, problematic, and likely out of compliance, brand-wise. Buyer beware. Every single thing from that Halloween assessment was validated today!:
