Power Yoga is a pure form of movement art that has captured the essence of Ashtanga, adding a Buddhist sweetness and meditative quality to its practice, cultivating strength, openness, and balance in its practitioners. I'd like to give a shout-out to Bryan Kest (Kest/Santa Monica Power Yoga, http://www.poweryoga.com/) for all he's done to bring his own kindness and uniqueness to the evolution of yoga, making it more accessible to mainstream America and something one can share.
I'm encouraged by the fact that I see so many smiling faces. The students I am privileged to teach seem dedicated to bringing conscious evolution to their daily lives, as seen in the overall benefit derived from the practice--a healthy, balanced, beautiful appearance, integrity in the way they conduct themselves, willingness to share and spread love, and the ability to listen to the powerful medicine of wisdom and their inner resources.
I am astounded at the rapid transformation that I see in the studios where I teach.
It is with great love and honor that I teach and lead this dance with Spirit and breath.
Be at peace. Always.
Love and Samadhi,
Amy Jin
